Halifax Regional Police (HRP) say they have charged three drivers for stunting in Dartmouth and Bedford. A police officer observed a vehicle travelling at 132 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Monday at approximately 1 p.m. on Highway 111 near the exit 6B off ramp, said a news release. Police said they issued a ticket to a 31-year-old man for stunting. An officer observed another vehicle driving 112 km/h in a 60 hm/h zone on Tuesday at approximately 1:40 p.m. on Highway 7 near Westphal. Police said they ticketed a 29-year-old woman for: An HRP member observed a vehicle travelling at 156 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Wednesday at approximately 10 a.m. on Highway 102 near exit 4C. Police said they gave a 26-year-old driver a ticket for stunting. Police said drivers are automatically charged with stunting when a vehicle is travelling more than 50 km/h over the posted speed limit.
