Carbon monoxide poisoning ruled out in Fall River suspicious deaths case: N.S. RCMP

Police are investigating two suspicious deaths in Fall River, N.S.

Three days after the bodies of two men were found at a home in Fall River, N.S., RCMP have confirmed carbon monoxide poisoning has been ruled out.

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of a deceased man inside a residence on Lincolnshire Drive around 3:40 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived on scene they located the body of a second man in another part of the home.

“The investigation is ongoing. It’s determined to be suspicious at this time until a manner and cause of death can be determined,” Cpl. Mandy Edwards, the public information officer for the RCMP Halifax Detachment, told CTV News Thursday.

Edwards says both victims lived at the residence and that another resident had just come home when they made the call.

“We’re not asking for help from the public,” says Edwards. “There will be an update provided once we have that cause and manner of death.”

Police say the investigation is ongoing with support from RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services.
