Hi Everyone!

Thanks you to all who called in and supported the IWK Telethon for Children!  It was another record-breaking year with over 5.8 million dollars earned for our children’s hospital.

I was posted at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, but CTVers were all over the Maritimes… from Charlottetown, to Saint John, and Sydney!

A big thanks to everyone who participated, especially the IWK patients and staff.  It humbles me that you invited our cameras into your private space and shared your stories with us.  Believe me, it did not go unnoticed.  Click here for a look at some of my personal photos over the weekend.

I also want to thank Halifax Mooseheads Branden Duke and Konrad Abeltshauer for stopping by for a visit.  You should have seen the line-up of kids (young and old) waiting for a photo with the national champs!  Not only did the guys bring a donation from the organization, they lifted the spirits of everyone they met!

It was also a pleasure to hear Dave Gunning sing the song he wrote for the IWK.  He’s as sweet as he appears on TV.  Enjoy “These Hands” below.
