The Winnipeg Sea Bears have won the 2026 CEBL Championship. The Sea Bears beat the Brampton Honey Badgers 98 to 84 Saturday afternoon, clinching the team’s first CEBL title. The Sea Bears showed up for a packed house, with 12,519 fans filling the Canada Life Centre in Downtown Winnipeg. Winnipeg’s own Simon Hildebrandt hit the game-winning three-pointer, with Xavier Moon (three-time CEBL MVP) leading the team in scoring with 29 points. The CEBL championship three-game series was reduced to one after Wednesday’s game in Brampton was cancelled due to condensation on the court.
