A 32-year-old man from Winnipeg is dead following a crash west of Kenora. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and other emergency personnel responded to reports of a crash on Highway 17 near Rush Bay on Tuesday around 1:45 p.m. Police said a tractor trailer unit and a passenger vehicle collided on the highway. A 32-year-old man from Winnipeg was pronounced dead at the scene. A stretch of the highway was closed for several hours while police investigated the crash. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam video from the area at the time of the incident to contact investigators at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
