Major delays are expected this weekend at one of south Winnipeg’s busiest intersections. The City of Winnipeg said its crews are repaving the intersection of St. Anne’s Road and Abinojii Mikanah. As a result, major reroutes will be in place from Saturday at 6 a.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m. Northbound St. Anne’s road traffic will be directed onto eastbound Abinojii Mikanah, and southbound traffic on St. Anne’s Road will be directed onto westbound Abinojii Mikanah. No left turns or through travel will be allowed for southbound and northbound travellers. Abinojii Mikanah will be down to one lane of through traffic in each direction. Drivers won’t be able to turn left onto St. Anne’s Road.
