The northbound St. James Bridge was reopened after a closure due to “serious” motor vehicle collision. In an email, a spokesperson for the department said around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers were sent to a serious motor vehicle collision involving two motorcycles at Portage Avenue and Century Street. As of 9:56 a.m., a red motorcycle was lying on the northbound lanes of the St. James Bridge. Part of the Viscount Gort Hotel parking lot was also closed off to the public. The traffic division is continuing the investigation and no further information was available. As of 10:48 a.m., the bridge reopened.
