A made-in-Manitoba crime thriller starring Bob Odenkirk will soon hit the big screen. In a recently released trailer for the movie “Normal”, Odenkirk stars as a provisional sheriff learning the town is far from normal. He’s brought in to police a sleepy town, uncovering a major conspiracy. Henry Winkler and Lena Headey co-star in the movie. “Normal” hits theatres April 2026. Made-in-Manitoba movie “Normal” is set in a small Minnesota town, however, the fictional community will look awfully familiar to Winnipeg Beach regulars and Winnipeg residents. The movie was filmed in the two Manitoba communities in fall 2024. It’s the third movie Odenkirk has filmed in Manitoba. He starred in “Nobody” and “Nobody 2”, both filmed in Winnipeg in recent years.
