Some Manitoba voters will be heading to the ballot boxes this summer. In a news release sent by the province, a byelection is being called for The Pas-Kameesak. Voters in the northern community will choose their new representative on Tuesday, July 21. “The chief electoral officer will be issuing an additional news release in the coming days that will indicate polling times, locations, dates and locations of advance polls,” the release said. The Pas-Kameesak’s seat has been empty since March following the death of NDP MLA Amanda Lathlin.
