Drivers are being warned to expect delays this weekend. The City of Winnipeg said in a statement Arlington Street, in the West Alexander neighbourhood, will fully close between Adele Avenue and Winnipeg Avenue, starting Saturday at 6 a.m. “During this closure, there will be no access from Arlington onto Notre Dame Avenue or vice versa,” the city said. Additionally, only one lane in each direction on Notre Dame Avenue, between Alverstone Street and Home Street, will be open. Sidewalks will remain open. Three transit stops will be rerouted. The roadways are expected to reopen 6 p.m. Sunday.
