Winnipeg firefighters responded to three fires Saturday morning. At 6:31 a.m., crews were sent to a vacant house in the 100 block of Syndicate Street, which is in the North Point Douglas neighbourhood, after a fire was reported. Heavy smoke and flames came from the house when they arrived. Crews brought it under control at 7:20 a.m. Weston neighbourhood fire At 8:33 a.m., firefighters went to a house in the 1400 block of Winnipeg Avenue West after reports of a fire were made to them. Crews arrived at the location and found smoke coming from the house. They brought it under control at 8:57 a.m. Logan Avenue fire At 8:48 a.m., a fire in a house in the 600 block of Logan Avenue – near the Centennial neighbourhood – was reported to the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. Heavy flames were coming out from the house and firefighters declared it under control at 9:32 a.m. For all three incidents, no injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing.
