Jeff Burrows’ 24 Hour Drum Marathon

Friday May 29-30

After two decades of music and fundraising, Windsor drummer Jeff Burrows says this year’s 24-Hour Drum Marathon will be his last.

In a media release, Burrows announced the 20th annual event — taking place May 29 and 30 at Good Time Charly in Windsor — will mark the end of the long-running fundraiser that has supported charities across Windsor-Essex for the past 20 years.

Pelee Island Winery Half Marathon

Welcome to the 12th running of the Pelee Island Winery Half Marathon. Canada’s most Southern Half-Marathon takes place on a remote Lake Erie Island, ending at Pelee Island Winery.

This very exclusive event is limited to approximately 400 participants, who will enjoy the beauty of running around this pristine island, with Aid Stations and Port-A-John approximately every 2km. The course is very well marked and managed, as well as timed, surfaced with a mixture of pavement, gravel, and tar and chip.

Registration includes a Wine-inspired Recovery Shirt Long Sleeve Hoodie, an award-winning medal, bib, and a ticket to the best After-Run Party in running with Wine Tasting.
