Lots of football on the schedule for this weekend in Windsor. The University of Windsor is preparing to host York on Saturday night at Alumni Field during Alumni Week at the school. At St. Clair, the Saints are taking on the Sault Cougars at Acumen Stadium Saturday afternoon. The Cougars are undefeated at 7-0, setting themselves up to be the team to beat in the Ontario Football Conference. The teams last faced off at Sault College in September. The Cougars took the win, 42-15. “I think the first time we just got unlucky. There was a lot of bad bounces in the first half and that got to us early and it killed our momentum, but second half I think we bounced back,” said Asher Lavoie, junior linebacker. “Score didn’t really show it, but the adversity from everyone was great and we just gotta keep that same mindset going into this game.” St. Clair is coming off three straight wins.
