Chatham-Kent police informed the public of an increase in police presence in the area of Pine Street in Chatham due to an ongoing investigation around 11:30 p.m. on Monday night. Residents and motorists were asked to avoid this area, but officers said there was no threat to public safety. At 5:40 a.m. police posted on social media that the investigation was cleared.
