70-year-old and 19-year-old charged with stunt driving in separate incidents

Windsor police have charged two men with stunt driving after separate incidents in the city.

The Traffic Enforcement Unit stopped both motorists on Friday.

A 19-year-old male driver was travelling 108 kilometres per hour in a posted 50 km/h zone in the area of Dougall Avenue and Medina Street West.

A 70-year-old male driver was travelling 104 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone in the area of Ouelette Avenue and Tecumseh Road East.

Both drivers had their vehicles impounded for 14 days and their licences suspended for 30 days. Additional penalties may apply once the matters proceed to court.
