Victoria Weather | Local Victoria and Vancouver Island Conditions | CTV News VI

"After today we live on the other side of the weather coin, going from above seasonal, sunny and dry to the opposite on all those fronts. Our upper ridge of high pressure breaks down and that will allow a low from the NW to move into the area. Rain will start around midnight Friday and roll through a good chunk of the weekend.

We’re looking at steady rain through Friday, mostly morning showers on Saturday and light rain/showers for most of Sunday. We do get a break following the weekend. Monday and Tuesday are looking dry, not the warmest days but it’ll be a break from the moisture.

Overall the month of April, at least for the first half, will be fairly unstable with the island getting more rain than sunshine and it’s looking to be a below seasonal month temperature-wise."
