Regan Hasegawa

Regan Hasegawa joined the CTV News Vancouver newsroom as a multi-skilled journalist in 2019. She is currently a reporter on CTV Your Morning Vancouver, covering the day’s top headlines from across the Lower Mainland. Regan has covered a wide range of stories from crime to human interest pieces. Her favourite part of her role as the morning reporter is meeting viewers from across Metro Vancouver and getting to see all the natural beauty our province has to offer. You never miss a sunrise on the morning shift! Regan previously worked as a video journalist at CTV News Edmonton. Before that, she worked as an associate producer at Global BC, a backfill producer on Global National and a reporter for CKNW. She studied at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). She graduated, with distinction, from the Broadcast and Online Journalism Program in 2016. Regan grew up in Cloverdale, B.C, where she still lives with her husband and daughters. In her spare time, she loves travelling, reading, and going on adventures with her dogs. She’s also an avid volunteer with Job’s Daughters International.
