A restaurant in Niagara Region remains the lone establishment in the region with two Michelin stars. The Michelin Guide Toronto & Region unveiled its 2026 restaurant selection on Tuesday. No new restaurants received a Michelin star. Restaurant Pearl Morissette, located at 3953 Jordan Rd., Lincoln, Ont., kept the two Michelin stars it received last year. “A restaurant, winery, orchard, farm and bakery, Restaurant Pearl Morissette is a powerhouse,” according to the Michelin Guide. “With great pride for Canadian ingredients and respect for the seasons, Chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson make the most of their surroundings to enhance their spontaneous tasting menu’s dishes, as in roasted guinea hen with chanterelles, mokum carrot and fig.” Fourteen restaurants maintained their one-star. All but one are located in Toronto. Here are the restaurants that made it to the fifth edition of the Michelin Guide Toronto & Region. According to the Michelin Guide, a restaurant with one star “uses top-quality ingredients and prepares dishes with distinct flavours to a consistently high standard” and is worth a stop. Two-star restaurants are worth a detour, as the guide says they showcase the staff’s “personalities and talents shine through in expertly crafted dishes, with food that is both refined and inspired.” No restaurant in the region has received the highest rating of three Michelin stars since the guide was launched in 2022.
