I Tried DESIGNME’s New Fragrance Mist And Became An Instant Fan

As a scent lover, I’m always trying to build my fragrance collection. I love mixing, matching, and layering to get something entirely bespoke. The issue: fragrances typically don’t come cheap. That’s where mists and sprays come in handy. I like to spritz something more high-end and layer it with a more affordable mist to juice it up, or build on a beloved scent with complementary notes.

Now, I have a pretty solid collection already, but when I found out DESIGNME was launching a fragrance line, I knew I had to give it a go. I’m obsessed with the scent of the brand’s PUFF.ME Dry Texture Spray, and the line features the scents from their bestselling hair products, so it was a no-brainer.

My experience using the DESIGNME PUFF.ME Fragrance Mist

DESIGNME released three fragrances in this collection: HOLD.ME (peachy), GLOSS.ME (floral), and PUFF.ME (gourmand). As a fan of sweet fragrances, PUFF.ME was the obvious choice for me. It features notes of almond, tart cherry, and warm tonka, creating a deliciously sweet scent that leaves you smelling good enough to eat.

The mist is fine and even, so I always feel like I get the perfect amount with each spritz, and the sweet, rich scent lasts longer than I expected — around three to four hours for me — but not nearly as long as one of my perfumes. While some might consider that a downside, I see it as a bonus. I can easily layer it with other scents in my collection without worrying about it overpowering whatever else I’m wearing.

Since it’s formulated with nourishing, non-drying ingredients, you can spritz it on both your skin and hair. While it layers well with perfume, I find it lasts the longest when I spray it in my hair. If you’re looking for the perfect finishing touch that has people asking, “Wow, what is that scent?” when they walk by, this is it.

I’m also a big fan of the bottle. While it isn’t the most aesthetic option on the market, its flat, round design and plastic construction make it perfect for travelling or bringing on a night out. At 25 mL, or just under an ounce, it’s small enough to pack in a toiletry bag and complies with TSA regulations.

Is the DESIGNME PUFF.ME Fragrance Mist worth it?

Yes! This scent has become a staple in my fragrance collection. It smells amazing, lasts for hours, layers beautifully, and comes at an affordable price point. I’ll probably add one of the other fragrances to my rotation, too. If you like experimenting with new scents without spending a lot of money, I definitely think this one is worth a try.
