A Saskatoon home was lost to flames early Friday morning. Emergency crews were called to the two-story home on the 300 block of Avenue E North shortly before 5 a.m., arriving to find the house fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews brought the blaze under control in about 50 minutes. The lone person in the home was able to safely escape, though a dog is unaccounted for. Saskatoon police were on scene, working to gather eyewitness reports to help the Saskatoon Fire Department. A fire investigator is working to identify the cause, origin of the fire, and a damage estimate.
