Two people taken to hospital following carbon monoxide leak in downtown Regina

Two people were taken to hospital on Friday night following a carbon monoxide leak at a downtown apartment building.

The Regina Fire Department says multiple occupants were displaced as emergency crews searched for the source of the problem.

Regina police and SaskEnergy were also on scene to assist the building, located on the 1800 block of Albert Street.

Residents were moved from the upper floors to the ground floor lobby where air quality was determined to be safe. Later in the evening, all residents left the building for the night.
