These Sask. communities saw the most amount of snow after spring storm

On Friday, Environment and Climate Change Canada released snowfall totals for Saskatchewan’s spring snowstorm.

Following a late winter storm this week, many communities in Saskatchewan were left to deal with several inches of snow.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC) weather summary released on Friday morning, these communities saw the most amount of snow, recorded by official ECCC stations:

• Kindersley: 15 centimetres
• Regina: 9 centimetres
• Saskatoon: 6 centimetres

Social media painted a different picture, as Regina was reported to have gotten 15 – 20 centimetres of snow and Saskatoon was reported to have gotten 12 – 16 centimetres of snow.

Other social media reports recorded the following:

• Eatonia: 48 centimetres
• Conquest: 20 centimetres
• Moose Jaw: 18 centimetres
• Pense: 15 centimetres
• Pilot Butte: 10 centimetres
• Wolseley: 10 centimetres
