Search for missing woman in Regina ends with discovery of body

Authorities confirm Camille Hilderman was found dead northwest of the city on June 10.

A woman who was the subject of a recent missing person investigation in Regina has been found dead.

Following a search, which spanned several days, Camille Hilderman was found dead by investigators on June 10 near Highway 11 northwest of Regina, according to Regina police.

The 35-year-old Hilderman who went by Didi or Dee Dee, was previously last seen around 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5 in Wolseley, Sask.

Wolseley is around 100 kilometres east of Regina.

Since the investigation is in its early stages, police say no further information will be provided at the time, adding that further updates will be provided by RCMP.

Regina police previously enlisted the help of city fire crews to help find Hilderman earlier this week.

At the time, the service reported that Hilderman was considered vulnerable due to a medical condition.
