Regina Crime Stoppers is asking the public for help identifying those responsible for a hit-and-run that damaged a gated compound back in June. The incident in question happened on June 5th at 2:30 p.m. on the 1100 block of Cornwall Street. According to security video, a dark grey, newer model Ford Bronco with an unknown license plate drove through a closed electronic gate that damaged it and its electrical control box. The suspect vehicle did not slow down before driving through the gated compound. Moments later it drove onto the road and left the scene as if nothing happened. The vehicle also left behind the moulding from the front passenger door which police hope can help identify the suspect. Callers do not have to identify themselves, and calls are not traced or recorded. If you know any information leading to an arrest call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-tips (8477), or on their website.
