RCMP in Melville are investigating after a man was killed in an ATV rollover earlier in the week. On Sept. 2, at around 9:50 p.m., RCMP learned of a rollover in the Rural Municipality (RM) of McLeod. The driver and sole person inside the ATV was declared dead by paramedics at the scene. Police identified him as a 47-year-old man from Neudorf – located around 130 kilometres northeast of Regina. The investigation into the rollover continues with the help of the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, according to RCMP. As of 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, Saskatchewan RCMP has reported 64 fatal crashes resulting in 77 deaths on roadways within Saskatchewan RCMP jurisdiction in 2026.
