Moose Jaw man charged in child exploitation probe

A man in Moose Jaw has been arrested and charged following a child exploitation investigation.

On June 24, the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit with the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) executed a search warrant at a home in the city, the police service said in an update on Friday.

Electronic devices and printed images of child exploitation related material were found and seized by investigators.

As a result of the investigation, Bradley Joseph Cournoyer, 53, was arrested and charged with one count of possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

MJPS noted that further charges may be laid as the devices are analyzed.

Cournoyer appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday. He was remanded into custody. His next appearance is scheduled for Thursday, July 2.
