Ottawa paramedics say a man was stabbed in Overbrook early on Sunday. According to Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson France Lavergne, paramedics were called to the scene of the stabbing on Bernard Street near Queen Mary Street at 1:08 a.m. Ottawa police say a 34-year-old man suffered a minor wound to the head. Paramedics say he was transported to the Montfort Hospital in stable condition. “The initial investigation determined both parties involved knew each other and there is no ongoing threat to the public,” Ottawa police said in a statement to CTV News. “No arrests have been made in relation to this incident and the Ottawa Police Service’s Central Investigations Unit is continuing the investigation.”
