Members of the public are being asked to avoid the 100 block of Wellington Street West and Brown Street on Thursday morning, where crews are battling a fire.

“Fire crews are on scene,” officials said in a news release.

“Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services asks that the public avoid the area at this time. Further details will be released when available.”
