Wet weather on the way to Montreal for the weekend

Montreal will be hit with some wet weather on the weekend, followed by sun on Monday.

Montrealers are in for a wet weekend following mostly cloudy skies and a low of 21 C on Friday night.

Roughly 26 millimetres of rain are forecast for Saturday. The afternoon will also bring a risk of thunderstorms.

However, the mercury could hit an above-seasonal high of 24 C, before moving to a low of 17 C on Saturday night.

Less precipitation is expected for the Greater Montreal area on Sunday, with a chance of 1 millimetre of rain in the early morning.

Sunday afternoon could bring a perfectly seasonal high of 23 C.

A low of 12 C is forecast to end the weekend.
