Riders on Montreal’s light-rail network, the REM, should expect delays this weekend as crews carry out planned work. There will be no service across the entire network from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The service interruption will last until 10 a.m. between Anse-à-l’Orme and Bois-Franc. REM shuttle buses will be running to bridge the gap, with connections through other transit networks in the region. Riders are advised to check trip planners for their best alternate route. The same schedule will repeat next weekend, Aug. 15 and 16. More details and shuttle schedules are available here.
