Montreal weekend weather will see increasing sunshine

Those in the greater Montreal area can expect to see increasing sunshine as the weekend goes on.

Partly cloudy skies and a low of 17 degrees Celsius Friday night could lead to a high of 23 degrees Celsius on Saturday.

Saturday could also bring showers, with a 30 per cent chance expected according to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).

By Saturday night, the mercury could then hit a low of 13 degrees Celsius.

The gloomy weather should clear by Sunday. Mainly sunny skies are forecast with a daytime high of 23 degrees Celsius once again.

More above-seasonal temperatures are forecast for Monday, with a high of 26 degrees Celsius.

The daytime high for the Montreal area is typically 22 degrees Celsius at this time of year.
