Montreal could see some snow this weekend, along with cooler temperatures. After a rainy Halloween where Montreal got 60+ millimetres of rain, many residents are hoping to have a break from the showers. However, the first week of November could bring more precipitation in the forecast, and that includes a four-letter word: snow. It all begins on Monday, when Montreal is expecting around 11mm of rain starting in the afternoon and continuing overnight. Tuesday is expected to begin on the cloudier side, but we will get some sunny breaks in the afternoon. Wednesday temperatures will drop slightly below seasonal with a high of 7 degrees Celsius, instead of the average 9C -- but don’t reach for your parka instead of a raincoat. Montreal will see periods of rain throughout the day, with 12mm expected to fall. Thursday brings the return of sun and clouds and even cooler temperatures, calling for a high of 4C. The break from the rain is short-lived with more showers in the forecast for Friday. It’s estimated that around 8mm of rain will fall, beginning in the afternoon. Saturday could bring another 3mm of rain, and another storm will begin to make its way through the region, followed by cooler air, impacting the conditions we will see at the end of the weekend. Come Sunday, Montreal’s forecast is calling for snow flurries or rain showers, and a cold daytime high of 3 C. The second week of November will require a warmer coat, with a high of only 2 degrees, and cloudy skies to go along with it.
