Two people were found with stab wounds in an apartment in Montreal’s Saint-Michel neighbourhood Monday afternoon, police say. Montreal police (SPVM) say they received a 911 call at 2:25 p.m. reporting an injured person in the apartment on 39th Avenue, near the intersection of Paul-Corbeil Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man and a woman with the same injuries caused by a “sharp object,” explained police spokesperson Jeanne Drouin. Their identities and health condition are not yet known, she said. “For the time being, the causes and circumstances of the incident remain to be determined,” Drouin added. Police have set up a perimeter around the scene as they continue their investigation.
