Frost advisory issued for Montreal area

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for the Montreal area.

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas of Montreal, Laval and Vaudreuil.

Environment Canada said temperatures will approach or reach the freezing mark overnight on Thursday night.

The weather agency is advising to take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
