Fans of Canadian icon Celine Dion were in for a special treat Tuesday night when the diva turned a Parisian street into her stage. The singer emerged from her hotel in a black leather gown, waving to cheering crowds, then broke into one of her French hits, “Pour que tu m’aimes encore.” The 58-year-old is in the French capital for her first series of concerts since revealing her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome. She made a brief appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The first show of her upcoming Paris concert residency at the La Défense Arena begins on Sept. 12 and runs through May 2027. She will play 16 shows scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in September and October, then return in May for 10 more dates, added because of high demand.
