Quebec rock duo Angine de Poitrine announced its 2027 world tour on Wednesday. “L’Angine is packing its bag and announcing a new hike for 2027,” the band wrote on social media. Ticket presales start on Oct. 27. The band will tour in Australia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. There are also several stops in Canada and the U.S., including Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, and Alberta. The tour is scheduled to begin on March 4 in Melbourne, Australia, and conclude on July 30 in Saguenay, Que., where the group — Khn on double-necked guitar and Klek the drummer — is from. Angine de Poitrine has risen in popularity this year, with performances on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.” They also headlined the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Osheaga, and the Ottawa Bluesfest. The band is currently touring Europe and returns to Canada in November with shows in Montreal, Quebec City, and Toronto. In September, the band won the Polaris Music Prize for their album “Vol. II” and the Polaris Song Prize for their track “Fabienk” — the first act to win both awards at the same time.
