Waking up to frost Friday with a cool, cloudy weekend on the way

CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison has your full weather forecast.

Kicking off the start of May Friday with cool, frosty conditions in the morning and spotty showers possible in the afternoon and evening.

“The greatest chance for showers will come along that northern shoreline of Lake Erie, but there will be some spotty light rainfall as we head into the afternoon,” explained CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “Temperature not quite as cool today as it was yesterday, but still well below normal.”

As we head into Saturday, a mix of sun and cloud is expected with the chance for passing showers in the afternoon as well.

“We’re up to 15 on a Sunday. That’s better. That’s where we should be for this time of year,” said Atchison.

Much warmer come Monday, with the high in the low 20s.

Friday: A mix of sun and cloud. 40 per cent chance of showers late in the morning and in the afternoon. Wind becoming northwest 30 km/h in the afternoon. High 11. UV index 6 or high.

Friday night: Partly cloudy. 30 per cent chance of showers in the evening. Wind northwest 20 km/h becoming light in the evening. Low minus 1 with frost.

Saturday: A mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 10.

Sunday: A mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 15.

Monday: A mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 22.

Tuesday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 19.

Wednesday: Cloudy with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 12.
