Images released of shoeless suspect wanted in 401, Ingersoll crashes

OPP have released photos of a person wanted as part of the investigation into two crashes in Oxford County on Sunday.

Around 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, officers police responded to reports of a collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Foldens Line in Ingersoll.

One of the vehicles fled the scene and later crashed into a home on Charles Street West around 8:20 a.m., at which time, police said the driver fled on foot from.

Area residents, businesses and drivers in the area at that time are asked to check their security systems, doorbell cameras, along with dashcams for possible footage of the individual.

• Black male
• Slim build
• Late 20s to early 30s
• Wearing a white t-shirt and dark jogging suit
• May not be wearing shoes
