Local health officials are urging parents to make sure their children are up to date on their vaccinations before heading back to school. They say flu, COVID-19 and RSV are expected to circulate more as temperatures cool and children spend more time together indoors. Officials are also warning about measles. Federal data shows 85 per cent of two-year-olds were fully vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella last year, below the 95 per cent threshold needed to keep measles at bay.
