Did you see something? OPP asking for help in Kincardine investigation

Police in Kincardine are hoping someone witnessed what they are calling a weapons incident in the town.

The South Bruce OPP Major Crime Unit is asking witnesses to come forward who were in the area of Mechanics Avenue and James Street, or Mechanics Avenue and Princes Street, on April 14 between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Police say anyone who was in the area at that time and saw something suspicious, or has surveillance or dash-camera footage, is asked to contact the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit.

In a statement, police said, “Due to the nature of the investigation, additional information will not be released at this time.”
