Back-to-back hot and humid days on deck with some pop-up showers possible

Another hot, sunny, and humid day is expected Tuesday across the region.

“It’ll start to feel like the mid to upper 30s mix of sun and cloud to mainly cloudy by the afternoon,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “There’s about a 30 per cent chance of a pop-up shower. It’s going to be hot.”

Atchison says the forecast high this week averages out to close to average for this time of year.

“We do have a couple of back-to-back days with some heat and humidity,” she added. “There’s a chance for afternoon showers Thursday. It looks like we will get a little rainfall overnight Thursday into Friday morning.”

However, as forecast models indicate at the moment, the weekend is shaping up to be absolutely lovely.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and cloud. 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. High 29. Humidex 37. UV index 9 or very high.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with 30 per cent chance of showers early in the evening then clear. Low 16.

Wednesday: Sunny. High 30.

Thursday: A mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 29.

Friday: Cloudy with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 26.

Saturday: Sunny. High 27.
