Video of a ride RCMP gave a man on trial for murder just days before the crime was played in court today. Justin Bone is accused of killing two workers in Chinatown in May 2022. He was living at home in Alberta Beach on release conditions to stay there but was kicked out after an argument with the homeowner. In the 49-minute-long video, Bone is seen in the back of the cruiser as an RCMP officer gives him a ride to Edmonton. Throughout the video, Bone appears upset, often raising his voice or yelling. The defence is expected to call a psychologist and toxicologist before Bone is finished testifying. The Crown will then be given a chance to cross examine.
