Shooting outside west Edmonton Jollibee leaves man in life-threatening condition

A man was taken to hospital after a shooting outside the Jollibee restaurant in west Edmonton on Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called to the restaurant at 90 Avenue and 170 Street at 9:17 p.m.

The victim was taken from the scene by ambulance with serious, life-threatening injuries.

A man and a female minor were found a short distance away and were arrested without incident.

An Edmonton Police Service spokesperson says a loaded gun was found on the man.

Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
