RCMP have located two men for which arrest warrants were issued following an early morning home invasion in Gregoire Lake Reserve on July 9. At 2:08 a.m. that day, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion. Two men entered a home, assaulted someone and pointed a firearm at them, demanding the victim’s phone and money, according to RCMP. The two men fled the area in a black side-by-side (UTV). At the time, police weren’t able to find the men, but say the investigation revealed them to be Fort McMurray residents. One man, who was found a day after his arrest warrant was issued, is facing robbery and failure to comply charges. The other man, who was facing robbery, assault, theft and failure to comply charges, was located on Aug. 7 Both are now in custody and await bail hearings.
