Crews responded to two power outages impacting southeast Edmonton

Crews were working to repair two separate incidents of downed power lines Thursday that were impacting homes in Bonnie Doon and Capilano neighbourhoods.

Epcor said crews were responding to downed aerial equipment on the south side of 92 Avenue near 46 Street on Thursday morning.

The second outage was caused by a tree falling onto a power line.

The utility provider said there were approximately 670 customers affected by the outages.

“In both cases, crews worked quickly and safely to complete repairs and restore power to all affected customers,” said a statement from Epcor.
