Police are urging caution while driving in inclement weather following a five-vehicle pileup on Anthony Henday Drive in west Edmonton Thursday morning. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of the ring road near 87 Avenue around 6:40 a.m. No significant injuries or damage were reported. “During periods of inclement weather, including heavy rain, Edmonton Police Service would like to remind all drivers to slow down, give vehicles lots of room and ensure that your vehicle’s headlights are on,” a spokesperson said in a statement. Police closed all but one northbound lane in the area for several hours.
