2 pedestrians taken to hospital after separate crashes in Edmonton

Two pedestrians were hospitalized over a nine-hour period in separate Edmonton crashes.

A 37-year-old woman was taken to hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition after she was hit by a car driven by a 22-year-old man at 97 Street and 108 Avenue at 9:21 p.m. on Thursday.

The driver of the car remained at the scene.

The Edmonton Police Service is asking anyone with footage of the crash to come forward.

A man was taken to hospital on Friday morning after he was hit by a vehicle at 6:30 a.m. in what police are calling a “low-speed collision.”

The crash happened at 184 Street and 111 Avenue.

The man’s injuries are reported to be minor.
