$100K in drugs seized from southeast Edmonton house

A man is facing charges after more than $100,000 in drugs were seized from a home in southeast Edmonton.

Police have seized more than $100,000 in drugs from a southeast Edmonton house after a drug trafficking investigation that began in January.

A search warrant was executed on a property in the area of Woodvale Road and 38 Avenue after a month of investigation.

Edmonton police recovered:

• 301 grams of fentanyl (approximate street value of $45,300);
• 8.5 grams of crack cocaine (approximate street value of $720);
• 979 grams of methamphetamine (approximate street value of $58,800);
• 1.63 litres of GHB (approximate street value of $1,630);
• more than 200 other assorted pills, including Tylenol 3s, winstrol, primobolan and clenbuterol
• two vials of testosterone;
• a 9 millimetre handgun; and
• approximately $4,600 in cash.

A 46-year-old man is now facing charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking along with other firearms-related offences.
