Motorcyclist sent to hospital after Tuesday evening crash

A male motorcyclist was sent to hospital after they slipped on some gravel along Shriners Road N.W. at 8:15 p.m. on May 4, 2026.

A man is in hospital after he lost control of his motorcycle in northwest Calgary.

Police responded to the scene on Shriners Road N.W. at about 8:15 p.m.

On arrival, they found a motorcyclist had slipped on some gravel and crashed.

Police said the victim, a man, sustained serious injuries in the crash.

EMS also attended and the patient was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Traffic delays in the area due to the investigation have since been cleared.
