Calgary police have charged a 15-year-old boy for making online threats against a school and the safety of students and staff.
Police say they became aware of the threats made on social media towards a Calgary high school just before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
After an investigation, police charged a 15-year-old male student with possession of a weapon, threats and extortion.
He cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
